Miguel de Wall’s Mx Nationals Round 2 & 3 Double header Race Report.

Good morning Miguel and Rad Team,

This past weekend I raced a double header on Saturday and Sunday down in PMB. Making this the first mx National race post lockdown.

Saturday (Round 2): 2 – 2 for 2nd overall.

Sunday (Round 3): 3 – 4 for 3rd overall.

On Saturday, I qualified second giving me second gate pick for the motos.

Moto 1 I got a terrible start and had to make my way from outside the top 10 back to second on a brutal track, where I would finish.

Moto 2 I managed to pull off a cracker of a start getting myself the holeshot, had a great battle going for the first few laps going back and fourth for the lead but tightened up a little and had to settle for second.

On Sunday, the skies opened up with constant rain throughout the day making for some muddy and difficult conditions. I would be lying if I said I didn’t struggle a bit with the track conditions but I’m happy to have made it to the finish in one piece and gain some extremely valuable points towards my championship.

It may have not been my best performance but I can’t complain with what I gained and achieved from this difficult weekend, especially towards my championship moving from 9th after a disaster to a more promising 3rd and in the championship hunt for sure.

Moving onto the next double header in Bloem next month. Time to get back to work and work towards that top step!

I would like to thank you Miguel, as well as the entire RAD Team for all your effort and support toward my racing dream! I am beyond thankful.

Kind Regards,
