THE RISING SUN EXPEDITION – 02-04 September 2022 – 3 Days, 2 Nights

– R2400 p/p

The perfect opportunity to not only see and experience our beautiful country but also improve your riding skills and expand your network of like-minded people.

What to Expect

The 3-day/2-night expedition will start and end at the RAD_KTM Shop Rivonia. We will be traveling on an exciting route including the Long Tom Pass towards Sabie and then to our accommodation destination 6km from Graskop. On Saturday we will be exploring areas you may never have visited before, with a choice of road or gravel routes guided by former KTM rider Tobie De Beer. On Saturday we will have a backup vehicle for support if needed. Returning home on Sunday we will be traveling on more exciting routes and passes via the Baberton area.

TRIP DETAILS:

  • This is a perfect opportunity to improve your riding skills and strengthen your network with like-minded people.
  • The Expedition will start & finish in RAD_KTM Rivonia.
  • Exploring the Mpumalanga region of South Africa.
  • The package includes a Bike Night ride with dinner on Thursday 1 September to the Ponte Tower in Hillbrow
  • Breakfast snacks and coffee on Friday morning at RAD_
  • Friday and Saturday accommodation including dinners.
  • Due to space constraints, the budget is based on sharing ONLY.
  • Space is limited due to accommodation availability

Travel/Tracks & Safety:

  • You are guaranteed to have lots of fun out in the mountains at this time of the year.
  • All riders are expected to carry their own luggage.
  • Please inform RAD_ of any medical conditions you might have.
  • All items should be packed in a weather/dustproof covering.
  • It is advisable to pack some snacks for during the day.
  • A hydration pack is recommended whilst out on the bike.
  • Bring along sun protection and required medication.
  • You will receive a welcome response with banking details once we have received your online registration.
